Dear Paloma Families,

Welcome back, Panthers! We realize we are entering this year in uncharted waters and with many unknowns. However, one thing we know for sure is that our teachers, staff, and students need our support more than ever. As the PTO Board, we are committed to holding as many events/activities as we can to normalize the school year as much as possible.

It is also critical we continue to fundraise to continue to support our full-time social worker (the PTO pays half of this position's salary). We also want to continue to provide our teachers with mini-grants to help compensate them for the out of pocket expenses they are incurring to teach their students virtually and any other needs that may arise throughout the year.

At this time, we are taking it month-by-month and planning fundraisers accordingly. We will not be able to hold any events in the fall and we will re-evaluate after winter break. At this time, we are planning monthly dine-outs, a fall Read-a-Thon, and a virtual Holiday Boutique!

I am excited to share with you that the PTO will now have our own website. Please visit www.palomapto.org and have a look around. It is still under construction, but we are very excited about all the features available to us. This exciting new software will allow us to streamline all of our processes and have everything conveniently located in one place. You will be able to shop online for Paloma merchandise, volunteer, sign up for monthly PTO communication, see our calendar of events, and download our new mobile app! Please make sure you log on and create an account for your family. This way you will have access to all of these tools.
