Dear Panther Families!

I am humbled and honored to be selected as the new Principal of Paloma Elementary School. I started my career in the San Marcos School District as an English teacher at San Marcos High School in 2002. Since that time I have had the privilege of working as an administrator at Twin Oaks High School, Mission Hills High School, and most recently at Joli Ann Leichtag Elementary School where I served as Assistant Principal. I believe that all students deserve a safe and welcoming school environment where they feel comfortable growing both academically and socially. 

As we embark on a new school year, I am looking forward to working alongside the staff, students, and community to ensure that every student feels safe and supported in a dynamic learning environment. I will work diligently to uphold the Paloma Elementary School Mission Statement which reads:

We the members of the Paloma Elementary Family create an environment of mutual trust and respect wherein all children have an equal opportunity to achieve academic excellence, develop a love of learning, and acquire skills to become responsible members of society.

Finally, the entire staff here at Paloma is dedicated to creating a school environment that is collaborative and draws on the strengths of all stakeholders where we aim to make a difference in the lives of our students.
